Boat Owners Association of the United States (BoatUS) is seeking a highly motivated Email Marketing Specialist to join our organization.

In this position, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Association and Foundation by utilizing your experience with email marketing tools, including Salesforce and WhatCounts, to drive the e-mail marketing calendar.

In this role, we are looking for a candidate that has foundational experience with HTML and can provide analysis for email marketing results.

Job Description

1. Execute comprehensive marketing communications strategies leveraging email channels to achieve business goals, encompassing customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.

2. Develop captivating email content, encompassing copywriting, design elements, and multimedia assets, aligning seamlessly with brand aesthetics and audience preferences.

3. Manage the email marketing communications calendar, meticulously scheduling and deploying campaigns across diverse audience segments and touchpoints.

4. Harness the power of email automation tools to orchestrate triggered and drip campaigns, meticulously tailoring messaging to customer behavior, lifecycle stages, and segmentation.

5. Conduct rigorous A / B testing and dissect campaign performance metrics (including open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates) to iterate and optimize campaigns for maximum impact.

6. Segment email lists based on demographic data, behavioral patterns, and preferences to deliver personalized and targeted communications.

7. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including creative media, publications, and product development, ensuring alignment of email marketing initiatives with overarching marketing and business objectives.

8. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing communications, constantly innovating and refining strategies.

9. Ensure strict adherence to email marketing regulations (such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and industry best practices to safeguard sender reputation and optimize deliverability.

10. Provide back up to Social Media marketing team across multiple platforms.

11. Conduct other duties as assigned.

Requirements

2. Proven track record (2-5 years) in marketing communications, with a strong emphasis on email marketing.

3. Proficiency in utilizing email marketing platforms (Marketing Cloud, WhatCounts, etc.) and marketing automation tools.

4. Exceptional copywriting skills coupled with a keen eye for creative design.

5. Analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from data analysis.

6. Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, essential for effective teamwork in a dynamic environment.

7. Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.

8. Familiarity with HTML / CSS for basic email template customization is advantageous.

9. Certification in email marketing or related disciplines is a plus.
